Antonio Graell (Madrid, 1962) takes a look in these photographs at the world of sadomasochism. What started out as a personal experiment turned with the passing of time into a public exhibition of these black and white photographs advocating this manner of eroticism, understood as another form of sexuality, via a series of images in which mutual consent, enjoyment and the absence of superiority of either sex can be considered as constants repeated throughout the entire series. |

Aker, the devil, has left the coven to wander the streets with his entourage of percussionists, travelling through towns and cities with their live music extravaganza, fireworks and spectacular special effects. Deabru Beltzak’s latest proposal has one hand on the drum while the other stirs up toil and trouble. The drums beat, the streets come alight. Deabru Beltzak, Street Theatre, was brought to life in 1996 by actors and actresses from various professional groups in the Basque Country. Since then they have produced 6 shows, given over 600 performances, been commissioned to organize 23 events and 12 city parties, and have collaborated with around a dozen theatre companies from all over the world. |

G.R.A.A.L.L. (Groupement Rural d’Action Artistique de Libération Ludique). Attempting to escape from global warming, three Youcs, mythical creatures born from the unlikely crossbreeding of yaks and Yetis, closely watched over by their shepherd Yuocmyns, take a break on their long trip from the Yuoclund plateau (on the border between China and Mongolia). We look on with amusement as these nomads coming to discover our world bring us their games, their dances, their playfulness and their rites, portraying with humour and tenderness their philosophy and way of life. More than their spectacular, realistic outfits and their impressive height from atop long stilts, Youcs aims to create a harmonious universe bringing a smile to everyone’s face. |
